What We Do


We are a  Platform/Network  of Angolan Women's Organizations, specifically from Civil Society, Community-based Organizations, Women's Societies of Churches, Women Parliamentarians and those holding leadership positions in State Institutions, Party Women's Organizations, individuals, and other women's movements.

Legally established or in the process of legalization that promote gender equality and fight for the defense of  human rights  and  women's rights  in various areas, with a view to building a society balanced between  men  and  women  in the pursuit of greater participation of women in the different decision-making bodies of the country's public and political

           ACTIVIST TRAINING

We equip social activists with knowledge and skills on electoral processes, civic engagement, and legal assistance, fostering informed and active communities.

Community Training 
We build the capacity of communities through training on civic education, electoral processes, and legal assistance, enabling individuals to actively participate in decision-making and advocate for their rights.
PMA led awareness campaigns and activities 
We raise awareness on rights, civic engagement, and social issues through community outreach and public activities.
 SEXUALITY EDUCATION TRAINING

We provide comprehensive training on sexuality, promoting awareness of sexual and reproductive health, rights, and responsible decision-making. Our sessions create safe spaces for dialogue, learning, and empowerment.

MULTI-PROVINCE PROJECTS LAUNCHES

We design and implement project launches across Benguela, Huíla, and Luanda, introducing our initiatives, engaging stakeholders, and building strong partnerships with communities and local institutions to ensure effective implementation.
GBV Training and Legal Assistance

We deliver training on gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response, while providing legal assistance to survivors. Our work supports access to justice, protection of rights, and community awareness on GBV issues.


PMA has legal personality and its Statutes were published in the Official Gazette, Series III, No. 112, of July 2, 2009; and it is registered with IPROCAC (Institute for the Promotion and Coordination of Aid to Communities) and registered with the Ministry of Justice.
